Greece 2008, The people are AWESOME, and the islands are beautiful!

Here are some beautiful pics from Greece. Our trip started in Athens, then moved to Santorini, Mykonos, and ultimately we met up with some friends on a NON Tourist Island in the north called "Limnos". It was a fabulous way to split the Vacation in to two parts.. Part I = Tourist,
Part II = Be with the locals!

SANTORINI

Our hotel pool in Santorini. Looking out at the caldera.

A look back to where our hotel was. On the cliff, somewhere in all the white buildings...

Some sidewalks on the slopes of Santorini

Another look back at the main Santorini village, and perspective with the rest of the island... The village is built right on the CLIFF! If you arrive by boat, you actually have to ride up the road, on the cliff, on a donkey!

We took a catamaran out into the big blue, and this rock formation is appropriately called "indian head point".

Just a typical Greek harbor on the windward side of Santorini.

This is how you get from one island to another in Greece!

MYKONOS

The old windmills in Mykonos.

LIMNOS

Sunset over Plati beach, on Limnos island.
